Got any spare cash? Fancy picking up a bargain? The Xbox Live Deals With Gold sale is back and bringing a huge number of discounts for both Xbox One and Xbox 360 to get involved in. But which of the bargains available between the 13th-19th September 2016 are worth picking up? And which are the ones you should be keeping away from? Let us tell you.

Yet again the Deals With Gold sale is delivering a decent quantity of discounts for us to think about purchasing and whilst it’s great to see a ton of Battlefield 4 DLC available for free, the following are the ones that really stand out to us.

Grab – The LEGO Movie Videogame – 75% off – £8.00 (Xbox One), £6.24 (Xbox 360)

There are a number of LEGO titles discounted this week, with the vast majority coming in at more than decent prices. But we’re picking out The LEGO Movie Videogame on Xbox One as the pick of the bunch.

Not only is it a great game to play through, but the 75% discount and £8.00 asking price is well within the boundaries that see it being more than worth picking up. If you’re still solely gaming on Xbox 360, then that price gets lower still and should tempt you in.

Go and grab Emmet’s tale immediately, although if you want a really cheap title, just check out the prices of the LEGO Batman games on Xbox 360 too.

Grab – Stikbold! A Dodgeball Adventure – 50% off – £4.00 (Xbox One)

Stikbold! A Dodgeball Adventure is pretty unique. Not only does it give you the chance to play a sport that is very rarely covered, but it brings a glorious art-style and a rather wicked story to boot.

Getting involved in the dodgeball world may never have been easier either as this week’s discount most definitely pushes it into ‘purchase’ territory and for just a few quid, should be quickly snapped up. It may be rather short, and it may get a bit repetitive, but should you have a spare afternoon, will definitely enjoy what you find. Go get it!

Leave – Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor – 50% off – £27.50 (Xbox One)

It may have been the Game of the Year for many, but that was back in 2014 and now, two years later we want to be seeing a bigger discount on the awesome Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor.

And when we get that bigger discount, we’ll be urging you to snap it up immediately, because it is still a great game now. But unfortunately the 50% that has been taken off this week isn’t the big bargain we want to see and you should be thinking twice before splashing your cash on it.

Leave – Batman: Arkham Knight Premium Edition – 40% off – £52.79

Please don’t hate, for I’m not including both Shadow of Mordor and Batman Arkham Knight in the ‘Leave’ section easily. In fact, I’m pretty distraught that I’m having to include them both this week.

But the fact of the matter is that whilst the above named title is still slightly overpriced, the equally awesome Batman Arkham Knight is another that needs a bigger price cut.

In fact, I’m going to include the Premium Edition of Arkham Knight as the £50+ price point is just far too high. It may have a ton of content, but if you’re interested in Batman, then you would have already picked it up and if you’re not, then it’s not at a price that will tempt you in.

So those are our choices for this week. Don’t forget, you should also be taking a visit to CDKeys and grabbing some of their super cheap Xbox Live credit before you even bother attempting to purchase any of this weeks deals. It’s what the smart kids do!

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore. Gamertag is neil363, feel free to add me to your list.
