Which of this week’s Xbox Live Deals With Gold bargains should you pick up? – 27th March – 2nd April 2018

-

It was a bit of a poor week for the Xbox Live Deals With Gold sale last time out, with us struggling to be able to pick any titles that really stood out as must buys. In fact, whilst the last few week’s may have given us some mediocre options, the next 7 days looks set to bring us the biggest deals of 2018 so far, with the Xbox Spring Sale joining the weekly Xbox Live Deals With Gold and Spotlight savings. More than 300 games are on offer, and there are countless bargains to be found, but here are the best and worst ones that we think you should be looking out for between the 27th March – 2nd April 2018.

Grab A Walk in the Dark 50% off – £2.89

If you enjoy a cheap thrill, then chances are you’ll want to be all over this week’s wonderful platform offering, A Walk in the Dark.

For under three pounds you could find yourself running the gauntlet as a cat within a dark fantasy world. With hazards crunching down on every step and the journey growing harder all the time, A Walk in the Dark is really the classic platform experience for those wanting a challenge.

For just £3, you can find out what hides in the shadows too.

Grab Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin – 67% off – £8.00

From a challenging platformer to a truly brutal experience. Dark Souls is the definitive challenge for hardcore gamers and you could now find yourself the proud owner of the complete Dark Souls II experience.

With all DLC included, Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin brings a truly monumental challenge, from dreaded boss fights to death defying chests and luscious loot that’s easily lost as you step into another accidental death.

If you like to prove yourself as a master of hardcore RPGs then the Souls series is certainly the way to do it? Whether you make it to the end or not will depend on the patience and skill you have, but for the price this is one deal you don’t want to miss.

Grab – Styx: Master of Shadows + Styx: Shards of Darkness – 67% – £13.75

If you were to offer me one game with Styx the memorable goblin, chances are you’d have my interest, but for both of his classic adventures in one bundle for such a low price, I’d be willing to tear your arm off.

That’s just what you’ll get if you splash out on one of the many Spring Sale options as both of Styx adventures are available for just shy of £14.

It may not be the cheapest deal on offer, but anyone looking for a quality game with an enjoyable story that’s packed with heavy stealth elements and is also a little different from the usual run of the mill stealth games, will find a must play series with the Styx games.

Not to mention you’re an assassin goblin… what more could you need?

Leave The Crew Ultimate Edition – 50% off – £20.00

Although it may not have been the Ultimate Edition of The Crew that was gifted to us via the Xbox Live Games With Gold program a few months back, paying an extra £20 for all the additional content is certainly not a price worth paying.

With a ton of content already available in the base game and a rather superior looking sequel set to arrive in the coming months, there’s plenty of reason to keep your cash in your pocket and put it towards the next entry in the series… especially when the majority of the main content within the Ultimate Edition was available as a free download previously.

So, there we have it, this week’s best and worst offers that you’ll find within the Microsoft Store. Is there anything that’s particularly caught your eye that you’ll be looking to add to your collection? Let us know in the comments below or via our usual social channels. We’re pretty sure there is something for everyone with the Spring Sale also in place

But before you go splashing the cash on any of this week’s deals, don’t forget to head on over to CDkeys to grab some super cheap Xbox Live Credit.
