Which of this week’s Xbox Live Deals With Gold bargains should you pick up? – 7th November 2017

-

It’s fair to say that last week’s deals weren’t all that spectacular when compared to recent weeks. Sure, we’ve had some of the year’s biggest titles arriving to fill the gap and keep the Microsoft Store looking as inviting as ever, but what we all really want is a cracking deal. With Xbox One X appearing, and the chance for a whole new set of gamers to get in on the action, what does this week’s Xbox Live Deals With Gold and Spotlight Sale – the one for 7th-13th November 2017 – have to offer?

Here are our pick of the deals you should be watching out for this week.

Grab – Team 17 Indie Heroes Pack – 80% off – £8.95

Kicking things off with a strong start, the Team 17 Indie Heroes Pack brings together four great games with The Escapists, Sheltered, OlliOlli2: XL Edition and NOT A HERO: SUPER SNAZZY EDITION all included for a great price.

This pack will give you the opportunity to attempt the ultimate prison break, survive the apocalyptic wastelands with your family whilst trying to avoid eating the dog, bust some super silky skateboarding heroics and take your political voting to the extreme in favour of ‘BunnyLord’.

If you’re looking for something to fill the gap between releases, or just want some unique adventures on that shiny new Xbox One X, you’ll want this bargain in your collection.

GrabEnter the Gungeon – 50% off – £5.37

We all love a good gun fight, whilst some of us like dungeon-crawlers and the chance to get behind a band of misfits for a new adventure every once in a while.

If any of those apply to you, then Enter the Gungeon is a great deal and one you’ll be happy to dive into for hours on end. Enter the Gungeon brings the ultimate test of bullet-hell to its players whilst forcing you to shoot, loot, dodge, roll and table-flip your way to the legendary treasure of the Gungeon, the gun that can kill the past.

An epic adventure for a bargain price.

GrabCastles – 75% off – £1.00

£1. That’s all this is. £1.

Learn the story of the ambitious King Harold, whose greatest achievement is the tower you must now construct. This is no simple build however and as the tower rises, fresh challenges appear. Face off against the unpredictable weather and the vengeful efforts of the jealous King Edmund who’s constantly on the lookout to thwart your progress.

With Story, Survival and Competitive modes to play through and more than 50 randomised levels, you’ll rarely see the same level twice in this puzzling adventure…

Castles brings you an adventure that’s on sale for just ONE POUND! Buy it now. Like, right now!

TempterQuantum Break – £14.40

It may not be the cheapest deal available this week, but there’s no denying Quantum Break is truly a spectacle to behold. With some of the finest visuals, fluid gameplay, encapsulating cutscenes and incredible set-pieces, Quantum Break is a game you certainly need in your collection.

With 4K upgrades available to those who have brought into the Xbox One X, what better time to jump into one of the best games available on Xbox. If only it was a little cheaper.

LeaveKen Follett’s The Pillars of the Earth – 20% off – £25.59

Whilst we never like to completely turn you away from a gaming experience here, the weekly deals are a fine chance to grab a game for a bargain price. But, Ken Follett’s The Pillars of the Earth isn’t a bargain price.

In fact it’s not really much of a price drop at all and when compared to some of the better games available this week it’s not exactly a difficult decision to make. If you’d like an adventure based on the world-bestseller, then this may well be the game for you, but if you want a true bargain, we recommend you leave this till the price becomes a little more wallet friendly.

So, another week of deals and whilst it’s not the best week it’s certainly a far cry from last week’s minimal options. Do you agree with our choices?
