The latest Xbox Live Deals With Gold and Publisher sale is now up and running with some big names reduced to reasonable prices. But which of the deals on offer should you be jumping on?

Well, a 50% reduction on both the Xbox One and Xbox 360 versions of Destiny is tempting, but by far this weeks best offerings come in the form of the Third Street Saints. If you’ve never taken in the joyful experiences that Steelport’s finest bring, then now is the time to get involved.

Saints Row IV: Re-elected – Xbox One – £17.99 and Saints Row IV – Xbox 360 – £9.89

Saints Row IV is a stunning game. It may not have the super high quality visuals that you’re used to with the likes of GTA V but the open world, super powered gameplay more than makes up for it. With tons of mini games available to get your teeth into and a huge number of different collectiables on offer, you’ll find many many hours of mayhem and craziness in the Steelport simulation.

The Xbox One Re-Elected version takes everything that was good about the original game and throws a higher quality visual coat onto things, whilst also including all the downloadable content as standard. If you have a choice between the two, grab the newer Xbox One edition, but 360 owners should still be more than happy with what they are given, especially for less than a tenner.

Saints Row: The Third – Xbox 360 – £4.94 – 67% 0ff

For me, this is the game that really pushed the franchise on another level. The original Saints Row was okay but the mini games were ultimately a tad boring. Saints Row 2 then built on its predecessor in a bit of a mad cap way, before Saints Row: The Third really turned things on its head.

The super powers may not have appeared until the fourth title, but the weapons on show more than make up for that. Why go killing with a standard shotgun when you can go all out with something much stupidier, much sillier and much much more fun!

For a few pence short of £5, this could be the biggest bargain of the year so far, although veteran Xbox Live Gold members will probably have already picked it up when the game went free with the Xbox Games With Gold scheme this time last year.

Still, if you’re new to the game…grab it!

As always, you can find the full list of this weeks Xbox Live Deals With Gold sale right here. It’s not the greatest of weeks for bargains but hey, there may be something there you fancy.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
