Are you a racing fan but are getting fed up of all the track rules and regulations? Do you have a rebellious side each time someone comes through with a dirty overtake forcing you to tail them until the next clean sweeping opportunity? Are there times you just want to throw that rule book out of the window and hurl your hunk of metal at full speed into the side of every other car out there? If that’s a yes, yes, and a definite yes, then Wreckfest is about to become a dream come true.

It may have already arrived on PC some time ago with an Early Access release, but now it’s shifted those training wheels and is revving at the starting line on Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The game is a long-lost return to the iconic days of Destruction Derby with its core mode taking players through 5 unique Career Championships in which players can earn money, upgrade their car, race for championship points and ultimately become the best no rules racer out there!

With fully destructible tracks, and one of the best damage modelling systems seen to date, Wreckfest is a big hitter on Xbox One and if you fancy getting yourself involved in the action, you can finally do so now with either the Wreckfest Deluxe Edition for £49.99 which will also see players given 24 hours early access, along with the Post-Apocalyptic Bonus Car pre order bonus, and the Wreckfest Season Pass. Or if you’re happy to wait an extra day and would rather spend the time to upgrade your own vehicles within the game, then you could always opt in to the Standard Edition for the price of £34.99 which releases on the 27th August 2019 and also includes the bonus pre-order car as part of the deal. You’ll find the game available from the usual Xbox One, PS4 and PC digital stores.

If you’re unsure as to whether Wreckfest is the return to destruction derby you’ve been waiting for, then why not check out our full review of Wreckfest on Xbox One and take a look at why this may be the best racer of 2019.
