Whilst it was originally brought to us for a limited time only, the Xbox Live Games With Gold promotional scheme is set to now be with us as an ongoing affair.
Giving all Xbox Live Gold members two free games per month, the scheme has seen a few great titles given away for nowt. Halo 3 is the current recipient of the ‘free’ tag whilst others have included Might & Magic, Crackdown, Dead Rising 2 and um….Rainbow Six Vegas, but we’ll be fine to forget that last one!
In a post over on the Xbox Wire, Microsoft have announced that the scheme will be continuing as ‘an ongoing benefit for Xbox Live Gold members on Xbox 360’. I guess that means Xbox One owners will however miss out?
With a 97% approval rating and more than 120 million hours played on these free games, it seems like Xbox gamers around the world will be more than happy to hear this news.
