-

After a week of sparse offerings in the Xbox world, things are back to normal with three new games heading to the Xbox One this week. Expect an influx of superheroes, exoskeleton enhanced humans, and knights!

The Surge – 16th May – Xbox One

In a time when the human race has been made redundant by the advancement of technology on Earth, you’ll take control of a human taking advantage of an exoskeleton. The aim is to fight your way through the CREO, a mega corporation, in a mission to survive, improving your own skills along the way to do so. In this hardcore action RPG, the unique combat sees you balance risk and reward in order to succeed, with both defensive and attacking manoeuvres being vital components.

Been gaming casually since the SNES as a youngster but found my true passion for games on the Playstation 1 (the forbidden word ooo). My addiction grew to its pinnacle with the purchase of an Xbox 360 & Xbox Live Service. A recovering GS hunter that will still play literally any game.

The Surge looks like my type of game but it’ll be a purchase way down the line when I’ve cleared off some of my backlog.
