One of our most anticipated games for 2018 is that of Yoku’s Island Express from Villa Gorilla and Team17. After being wowed by its beauty and draw back at EGX 2017, the sooner it arrives on Xbox One, PS4 and PC, the better. Today though we’re seeing a new trailer released – and it’s rather fitting of the time of year.
Yoku’s Island Express will see you taking charge of newly appointed postmaster Yoku the dung beetle, who quickly discovers that all is not well on Mokumana island. The ancient island deity is stuck in a restless slumber and its nightmares has caused a host of earthquakes and storms across the island. It’s all down to Yoku to traverse the island using a unique blend of pinball mechanics in an amazing quest to help the islanders.
Watch below as the festive new trailer for Yoku’s Island Express shows off some of the snowy surroundings that Yoku will discover, as he flips and bumps his way around the world of Mokumana Island. Mixing pinball with platforming, this delightful game will see everyone’s favourite dung beetle meet up with a number of super colourful islanders including Tungaska, Chirp the foreman and Tilo the mountaineer.
Yoku’s Island Express will be hitting Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch and PC in 2018. We can’t wait!
