The vikings are coming to Xbox One…the Zombie Vikings that is!

Zoink Games, the creators of the awesome Stick It to The Man! have today confirmed that after originally releasing on PS4 and PC, Zombie Vikings will be making its way to Xbox One later this year.

A one to four-player co-op stab-you-in-the-gut-a-thon, Zombie Vikings will see you embark on a dead funny adventure as a putrid posse sent on a mission through the most epic of worlds to retrieve Odin’s lost eye. You’ll be playing as the most fearsome Vikings ever raised from Norse soil – Gunborg, Seagurd, Hedgy and Caw-kaa as you hack through the gingerbread swamps of Molgaga, cruise through the intestines of the Midgaard Serpent and fight giant poultry!

Whilst that in itself is something to get rather exciting about, the fact that it’ll arrive with a ton of bonus content gets us salivating even more. Xbox One owners will be seeing the following included in their game release…

  • Raybjörn Character DLC
  • Frostbjörn Character DLC
  • A behind the scenes making-of video
  • 5 additional versus levels
  • Raz from Psychonauts, reincarnated as Raz-ombie!

Additionally, there will also be Hero Stats, where you can measure your progress with your friends, unlockable achievement wallpapers and of course all the content from the Majör Update (like Oink the unicorn pig!) will be in the mix as well.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One. A massive racing fan, Forza 4 was the daddy of all Xbox titles but Forza Horizon 2 now trumps that. Online first person shooters are my hell....probably because my reactions are so poor.
