Planet Zoo Arid and Tropical Packs land on console

New animals, more scenarios and a ton of additional scenery pieces? Planet Zoo: Console Edition continues to run wild with the new Arid and Tropical DLC packs.

If you have a copy of Planet Zoo: Console Edition sitting in your Xbox or PlayStation library, then you’ll already know that it’s a game capable of providing huge fun. It does that with a plethora of options and animals, both of which are being built on today with the launch of the Arid and Tropical Packs.

New additions to Planet Zoo: Console Edition

With the base game to hand, the Arid & Tropical Bundle for Planet Zoo: Console Edition will be your best bet at injecting further delights the way of your paying visitors. That bundle brings some thirteen new animals to the enclosures, as well as a couple of new scenarios for you to work through. Chuck in 200+ piece of scenery, and the £11.99/$14.99/€14.99 seems great value.

Each pack is also available today as an individual purchase, running £7.99/$9.99/€9.99 for each of the Arid Animal and then the Tropical packs.

And what do you get in each? Well…

The Arid Animal Pack

The Arid Animal Pack brings the Dromedary Camel, African Crested Porcupine, Black Rhino, Addax, Somali Wild Ass, Sand Cat, Dama Gazelle, and the Desert Horned Viper Exhibit Animal.

These unique species have adapted to some of the world’s harshest, driest climates, which you’ll get to navigate in a new Career mode scenario set within the scorching Arabian Desert.

The Tropical Pack

The Tropical Pack takes zookeepers to the heart of the rainforest, introducing the Lar Gibbon, Red River Hog, Fossa, Asian Water Monitor, and the Brown-Throated Sloth in its Walkthrough Exhibit.

Southeast Asian-inspired scenery brings everything you need to create a shady Tropical paradise in your finest zoos, while a new Career mode scenario will see the opportunity to go transforming a zoo into a jungle haven for its inhabitants.

You’ll find Planet Zoo: Console Edition on the digital storefronts for Xbox and PlayStation right now, whilst the new Arid Pack and Tropical Pack will be present on there too.

For us, we think you’ll be best off with the full Arid & Tropical Bundle. But let us know your thoughts in the comments.
