Back in the middle of 2016, Milkstone Studios released Pharaonic onto an unsuspecting world. Arriving in digital form, it went on to provide a hardcore 3D side scrolling experience. Now though Pharaonic is hitting back – with a fully boxed Deluxe Edition which brings some lovely extras.

Announced today by publisher SOEDESCO is the news that Pharaonic will no longer be confined to the digital scene, with a boxed Deluxe Edition arriving for Xbox One and PS4 players. You’ll find it on store shelves come September 22nd 2017 and will include the game (obviously) and a physical copy of the original soundtrack

That in itself will contain twelve tracks that help fully immerse the player in the world of Ancient Egypt. All tracks are composed by Carlos Viola, who is also responsible for the soundtrack of critically acclaimed horror adventure The Last Door.

If you haven’t yet played the combat RPG which is set in Ancient Egypt, but quite fancy the opportunity of picking it up physically, then make sure you hit up our full review and then keep an eye out as it arrives in a store near you.

Pharaonic features include:

  • Explore an Ancient Egypt full of traps and treacherous enemies
  • Enjoy an exhaustive, refined and satisfying combat system
  • Complete character customization, with hundreds of pieces of equipment at your disposal
  • Face impressive bosses and their minions in epic fights full of tension.
  • Talk with plenty of colorful characters to fill the blanks in your memory and learn what’s happening to the kingdom
  • Discover lots of secondary paths, full of treasures and traps
  • Collect dozens of weapons and shields with different combat styles
  • Use the powers of the Gods and cast spells that will help you in your journey

I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
