Sim-builders rejoice! For fans of 2021’s Surviving the Aftermath - an intricate base-building title reminiscent of the excellent Aven Colony - today is a great day, with the release of the second expansion to the game, Shattered Hope, bringing all new lunar resources to your creations.
Aven Colony is one of the most interesting city builder-types out there, throwing us in to the harsh lands of the alien planet Aven Prime, before being tasked with making the most of the lands found within. Now though there's some DLC available for purchase - and the Cerulean Vale DLC will push your skills to the very limit.Â
Aven Prime is an alien planet full of mystery. It is up to you to harness that mystery so you can build and expand small preset colonies into sprawling cities, in order to keep the citizens happy, well fed and above all else, safe. Oh, and you'll have to prove your worth as a colony planner and space explorer to your elders at the same time.
