Ghoulboy on Xbox is here to save your Halloween, by defeating one monster at a time. Just as well then as it has arrived today on the Xbox Store, in time for the spooky season.
The double offering of Zombies Ate My Neighbors and Ghoul Patrol makes a lot of sense if you are looking for a retro-styled challenge. It’s able to deliver all the difficulty of old-skool gaming, and all the challenge that entails, but in a modern setting that even allows saves to be made; the best of both worlds.
Much like the releases of today, not all games from the early 1990s were a success. But Zombies Ate My Neighbors went down pretty well, so well in fact that it inspired a sequel - Ghoul Patrol. And that was pretty well received too, so much so that both Zombies Ate My Neighbors and Ghoul Patrol have now been relaunched on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, Nintendo Switch and PC.
The Medium looks like a further refinement of what Bloober Team do so well: horror games that wholly immerse you in their worlds, and they’re beautiful worlds at that. The Medium has been made for the Xbox Series X|S, and we’ve been baying for a game that showcases the tech. Well, it’s finally here, and it’s free (depending on definition of ‘free’) on the Xbox Game Pass. The Medium is out now on Xbox Series X|S and PC.
If there's something strange in the neighbourhood, who you going to call? Well, please ring the police, but after you've exhausted all possibilities, you may well want to give the Ghostbusters a tinkle. Ghostbusters: The Video Game is the Remastered version of a game that first appeared on the last generation of the console back in 2009. But now this shiny new version is back on the streets, available on Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch and PC.
Reverse Crawl is now available on Xbox One and Nintendo Switch, placing you into the shoes of the Revenant King as you attempt to reclaim your throne from the evil Red Queen!
Take part in the nostalgia and unearth a forgotten treasure; but have no illusions - there is a slow, cumbersome reason why Clockwork Aquario never made it into our arcades.
