Monster Hunter World is one of Capcom's biggest, most immersive of games. Since release on Xbox One back in 2018 it has however continued to go from strength to strength, with the Iceborne expansion pushed it on to new heights. Today we find even more downloadable content made available for the game, with eight new sets that look to allow all players the chance to find full completion, all while crossing over with a variety of other Capcom titles.
The latest content update for Monster Hunter World has arrived for Xbox One, PS4 and PC, and with it, a new monster to hunt called Alatreon. Described as a “symbol of destruction… rumoured to control all of the elements”, Alatreon is able to change elemental state to Fire, Ice or Dragon, so it is up to the hunter to come fully prepared for all eventualities. This new monster will be available to hunt for those that have completed Iceborne’s story.
It was in early 2018 that the launch of Monster Hunter World on Xbox One and PS4 was greeted by gamers around the globe, but never in our wildest dreams could we have imagined Capcom would have continued pushing the content on such a regular basis. Yet with the Iceborne update taking things on to another level in 2019, that content has continued to flow. Today we see the third free title update hit home for Monster Hunter World: Iceborne on Xbox One and PS4, and once again it is found delivering the goods in terms of monsters, amendments and new in-game events and content.
The first major title update since Iceborne has now been released for Monster Hunter World, and along with a brand-new monster to hunt, there are lots of free and paid add-on content packs to allow you to customise your room in Seliana.
Monster Hunter World: Iceborne on Xbox One is quite simply an exceptional expansion to an already exceptional game. Combined, they make one of the best games of the console generation.
