In the Sniper Elite 5: Conqueror Mission, Weapon and Skin Pack the mission is the highlight here, with a good flow to the structure and numerous side missions to find.
All in all, there's not a massive amount of content in the Sniper Elite 5: Concealed Target Weapon and Skin Pack and that means it is a little hard to recommend.
Sniper Elite 5 is a triumph. The campaign is great, Survival is brilliant fun and Axis Invasion gives an insight into how other players think. PvP sits in the mix like a wasp’s nest at a picnic, generally being unpleasant and spoiling things, but ignore that and this is a quality title that demands to be played.
Deathstorm Part 3 - Obliteration - to give its full name - doesn’t exactly play out like a story finale as much as you would expect, at least not in the traditional sense. This time there’s little n the way of the big comic book style entry that we have become used to with previous missions, and there isn’t really much of a big plan involved as to how we are supposed to achieve our goals. In fact, if I hadn’t already played the previous parts to the Deathstorm story, I could be forgiven for thinking this was just any other mission.
Last time out with Sniper Elite 4, we were making our way through the frozen lands of the an Italian shipyard, taking in the views of the snow covered scenery and getting to work on interception of the package known only as Todessturm - if only in order to find more about a secret atomic weapon that was expected to be arriving inside the base. After finishing that mission, it was fair to say that we felt like we had achieved something major, we had almost cracked the overall mission and we were ready to head home in victory. Recently I sat down with the second part of Sniper Elite 4’s Deathstorm mini-campaign and found out that what we thought was work well done, may as well not have even taken place at all.
It hasn’t been that long since we took ourselves off to the divine mountain views of the Italian landscapes, with Sniper Elite 4 only launching back in February. But that doesn’t mean we’ve had enough of the World War II shooter just yet. In fact, with the enjoyment we got from Karl’s adventure last time out you’d expect us to be jumping at the chance to return to action. Fortunately to help us expand that fine experience we had just a few months ago, Rebellion have brought the first major DLC to Sniper Elite 4. So I jumped back in to see if the engagement brought from the base game could be continued on throughout the DLC.
