For the flaws in TRANSFORMERS: Galactic Trials, it’s still capable of delivering a fun and nostalgic experience for fans of the Transformers franchise.
It may not have been the Transformers game that I wanted, but TRANSFORMERS: EARTHSPARK – Expedition surprised at how much of a decent open world title it is.
The Transformers love-in continues as fans get the opportunity to roll out with their favourite Autobots once more in TRANSFORMERS: EARTHSPARK - Expedition on Xbox, PlayStation, Switch and PC.
Transformers: Reactivate is an online-action title which tasks you and up to three online buddies to battle The Legion, a group of evil Decepticon-esques that may just be the greatest threat ever posed to the heroic Autobots.
The Transformers universe is rich for picking from, especially in terms of lore and the characters found within. Transformers: Battlegrounds has done a pretty stellar job of bringing that all together too, delivering us a decent take on the war between the Autobots and the evil Decepticons. But that war continues to grow and today Transformers fans are able to get hands on with a couple of new DLC packs - one that brings in a new CUBE Game, whilst the other deals with the character roster.
We're still waiting on that definitive Transformers title, the one that manages to bring together the joy of the toys, the madness of the cartoons, and the brilliance of the movies. Until that time though we'll make do with Transformers: Battlegrounds, a game that has now reached the next dimension with the arrival of the Shattered Spacebridge.
