It's been nearly a year since we first heard of Mia and the Dragon Princess, but finally a fully confirmed release date for Wales Interactive's next FMV is known. And pre-order opportunities open too.Â
Having played Ten Dates, we were clearly still in the dating mood, as we took the opportunity to speed-date two of its creative forces: Paul Raschid, the writer-director of Ten Dates, and Charlie Maher, who plays Ryan in the game.

Already famed for numerous titles (Bloodshore Five Dates, The Complex), it’s that team who have now detailed the first of three new interactive movie announcements, providing details in regards Mia and the Dragon Princess.
Whenever we hear that Wales Interactive are preparing to dish up another gaming experience, it's obvious that it'll be an FMV of sorts; a narrative driven tale which works as nothing more than an interactive movie. They are great at it too, having dropped the likes of Maid of Sker, Don't Knock Twice and more to many formats. Next up for Wales though is a deadly battle royale - kinda - as they confirm that Bloodshore will be released this November.
We love a good FMV and most of those in the higher echelons of the genre come about via the Wales Interactive team. There's much anticipation therefore for Night Book - the next FMV to launch onto console, PC and mobile. And now that the release date is confirmed, we know the wait to get involved only needs to be a short one.
Wales Interactive fast made a name for themselves as the go-to creator of multiple interactive movie style games. With the likes of Five Dates, Maid of Sker, The Complex and more under their belt, if you're looking to kick back for an evening with an interactive movie in tow, it's a Wales Interactive game you should be firing up. Now though they are gearing up to release a brand new, pretty dark, highly emotive psychological thriller - I Saw Black Clouds.
Over recent years Wales Interactive have provided us a good few different gaming options, mostly centred around the FMV scene with the likes of The Bunker, The Complex and Late Shift. Occasionally though we see them going really dark, and that is what is happening here today as they release the gruesome horror of Maid of Sker on to Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
If it's an FMV thriller you're after, then chances are Wales Interactive are behind it. And even though their chilling Maid of Sker is set to launch real soon, Wales Interactive are continuing on with further experiences, with the latest announcement focused fully on Gamer Girl.
We've previously seen Wales Interactive deliver the likes of The Complex, Late Shift and The Bunker to console and PC gamers, and very soon we'll be seeing the hugely interesting Maid of Sker launching. Today though Wales Interactive are back and announcing a brand new interactive romantic comedy, with Five Dates due to launch on console and PC.
