For the low asking price - and that's without even considering the Games With Gold launch - this ensures that We Were Here comes across as a delightful puzzler that really should be taken in.
We Were Here Forever is the biggest game of the series so far, and it’s pretty good without reaching the upper echelons of its genre. Sure, the story isn’t going to put you on tenterhooks, but the ingenuity of the puzzling more than makes up for its shortcomings in that department.
We Were Here Together on Xbox One provides a good puzzling affair that fans of the series should consider taking in. It’s not as enthralling, engaging or even as immersive as the first title in the franchise, and the issues brought about by character switching and trial and error puzzles are a shame, but should you be able to look past those and the hefty price increase, you’ll find a decent cooperative affair that is unlike any other.
If you and a mate enjoyed what came before We Were Here Too, and decide to give it a shot, you'll certainly like what unfolds, but you'll have to be more than prepared for another short experience that offers little in terms of replayability.
