Visions of Mana – now available

Releasing on Xbox, PlayStation and PC via Steam today is Visions of Mana – the first mainline title in the Mana series in over 15 years.

Coming from Square Enix, Visions of Mana is a highly anticipated action-RPG that includes new playable characters and gameplay features.

Exciting new gameplay features

Visions of Mana follows the journey of Val, a newly appointed soul guard, as he accompanies his childhood friend Hinna, a chosen alm, to the Tree of Mana. Along the way, they befriend new characters, Palamena and Julei, and form a customizable three-person battle team.

The game features the return of the Ring Menu, and players can explore the vibrant world by sailing with Vuscav or flying with Flammie.

The game trailer offers a glimpse into the exciting new gameplay features, including Elemental Vessels—mystical artefacts that contain elemental powers. Players can use these vessels to switch classes and unlock new abilities in battle.

Each character has a unique class tied to each Elemental Vessel, allowing players to customise their team for a dynamic and fast-paced combat experience.

Key features of Visions of Mana on Xbox

  • Vibrant Mana Aesthetic: Experience bold, visually striking graphics that capture the essence of the “Mana” series, bringing a world full of spirits to life.
  • Expansive World Exploration: Journey across a vast, semi-open field that stretches endlessly, using new companions called “Pikuls” for fast and safe traversal.
  • Elemental Power in Combat: Wield weapons infused with the power of Elementals, allowing you to switch classes and characters to match your playstyle, offering dynamic and strategic 3D combat.
  • Immersive Soundtrack: Enjoy 100 breathtaking tracks composed by series veterans, featuring interactive music that enhances the adventurous atmosphere in each area.

“It is so exciting to bring players a new mainline entry in the Mana series after 15 years,” said Mana Series Producer Masaru Oyamada. “We hope fans are as excited to return to the world of Mana as we are. We put so much work into making this new entry feel like a return home for existing fans while welcoming new players into the series. As you feel the world of Mana teeming with the breath of the elemental spirits, we hope that you’ll bear witness to the story that awaits Val and his friends on their journey.”
