Do you have a copy of Melty Blood: Type Lumina in your digital library? Do you feel the need to ensure that base game is enhanced, ever so slightly? There are a couple of new DLC packs available which will do just that.

Present, correct and available to be added to the Melty Blood: Type Lumina base game are two new downloadable content drops, both priced at £2.49, both capable of injecting some new round announcements to the game.

Melty Blood: Type Lumina is available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch and PC – and it has been since mid-2021 – the latest addition to the 2D fighting saga that itself is based off of TYPE-MOON’s visual romance novel, Tsukihime.

It’s a game that has been built-out very considerably since that launch, with multiple DLC packs having arrived. The latest two are that of The Count of Monte Cristo Round Announcements and Ushiwakamaru Round Announcments.

If you’re familiar with the game then you’ll know that both of these will add in new round announcements to Melty Blood: Type Lumina. And that’s pretty much all they do too – whether you’ll find that the £2.49 asking price of each if worthy, will therefore be totally personal.

Let us know if you decide to purchase these new packs. The comments are down below. You can grab each from the Xbox Store using the links above. You should also be able to find these on other formats too.

Should you not yet have purchased Melty Blood: Type Lumina then let us point you towards the Xbox Store. Heading there will give you the chance to pick up the game, playing it on either Xbox One or Xbox Series X|S. There’s both a Standard and Deluxe Edition in place. The game is playable on PlayStation, Nintendo Switch and PC too – but obviously you’ll need to be visiting the relevant digital store should you prefer those formats.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
