Ever found yourself struggling with a long distance relationship? A Fold Apart promises to explore the complexities that come with just that kind of thing… and it’s coming to Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch and PC.

Due to hit PC and Nintendo Switch in Spring 2019, with Xbox One and PS4 versions to follow at a later date, A Fold Apart will see us trying to solve the puzzle of the long distance relationship with a puzzle-driven narrative experience.

An adventure which has been inspired by the real-life story of designer Mark Laframboise, and the relationships we have with those we care about while separated by long distances, A Fold Apart on Xbox One, PS4, Switch and PC will explore the complexity of (mis)communication and reunite two people greatly in love through the mechanics of folding paper.

The tale of an Architect and a Teacher who have been forced apart by their careers, and the difficulties they encounter while separated is what A Fold Apart will focus. By puzzling through their beautiful paper worlds, we will get to experience firsthand the emotional challenges of living apart, as A Fold Apart begins to share an incredibly relatable narrative; just remember there are two sides to every story.

Have a little check of the trailer below and we’ll be sure to let you know once we hear of a cemented release date for A Fold Apart on Xbox One.

What do you think of A Fold Apart? Look an intriguing prospect to you? Fancy giving it a shot when it arrives on Xbox One, or will you be tempted to pick it up on another format prior to the XO release? Let us know all of your thoughts in the comments section below, or via the usual social channels. We’d love to hear from you.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore. Gamertag is neil363, feel free to add me to your list.
