Ratalaika Games know a thing or two about publishing games, for it is they who have delivered a host of weird and wonderful oddities to the Xbox, PlayStation and Switch marketplaces over the months and years. In fact, it’s rare for a week to go by when a delightful little Ratalaika tale doesn’t drop onto console and this week is no different as we get the opportunity to play out the tale of A Little Lily Princess.
A Little Lily Princess whisks us gamers off to India where we find Sara Crewe being raised just like any other daughter, with her doting dad ensuring that she has the best in life and raised like a princess. But much like any girl, there comes a time when she must leave, to venture forth on her own and it’s here where she is sent off to a boarding school in a foreign land. Thankfully she’s got her love of books and fairy tales to help get her through.
Priced at £11.99 and available to purchase and download from the relevant store of your choosing right now, A Little Lily Princess has been inspired by the classic novel, A Little Princess by Frances Hodgson Burnett. The game promises to deliver players a life simulation that covers romance and the friendship between girls.Â
It’ll be up to you to help Sara get through the adventure ahead and by dropping into this Victorian period visual novel will find yourself with many decisions to make. Most will centre around how Sara’s story unfolds, and which of the friendship bonds become the strongest. But with six possible endings, pretty much anything could happen.
You’ll find A Little Lily Princess available on the Xbox Store for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S (with Smart Delivery pushing out the Optimised best option for you), PS4, PS5 and Nintendo Switch. If you wish to know more, check out the trailer below, or hold tight for our upcoming review.Â
And if this isn’t to your liking, perhaps a couple of other Ratalaika Games titles will be. Both Infestor and Rabisco+ deliver altogether different experiences.
