Ninja Master Toru
Ninja Master Toru – out now on Xbox and PC

Synnergy Circle Games is back with another retro-inspired adventure, this time with a stealthy twist in Ninja Master Toru.

A 2D action platformer that harkens back to the Game Boy era, complete with charming pixel art and challenging gameplay, Ninja Master Toru is available now on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, with a PC version also on offer.

Ninja Master Toru puts players in the role of a lone ninja tasked with saving his nation from a zombie apocalypse.

A Curse Upon the Land

The world of Ninja Master Toru is plagued by an evil curse that transforms the dead into undead monstrosities. Entire armies have been decimated and turned into shambling zombies, leaving the nation on the brink of collapse.

The only hope lies in defeating the King of the Undead, a formidable foe who commands the zombie hordes.

As the titular hero, Ninja Master Toru, players must infiltrate the enemy territory and eliminate the King of the Undead. But this is no ordinary action platformer. Stealth is paramount, as Toru must utilise his ninja skills to remain undetected while strategically taking down enemies.

Limited Shuriken, Unlimited Challenge

Toru’s primary weapon is his trusty supply of shuriken, but they are limited. Players must carefully conserve their shuriken and make each shot count, as alerting the enemy to their presence can quickly lead to being overwhelmed.

The game challenges players to think strategically, utilising stealth and precision to overcome its challenges, but is about as far away from the likes of Ninja Gaiden Master Collection as you could get…

Key Features

  • Retro Action Platforming: Experience classic 2D platforming with a focus on stealth and precision.
  • Limited Resources: Manage your shuriken carefully and make each shot count.
  • Challenging Levels: Infiltrate enemy territory and overcome obstacles with your ninja skills.
  • Charming Retro Aesthetic: Enjoy visuals inspired by the Game Boy era.
  • Two Editions: Choose between the Xbox Edition (£4.19) or the Windows + Xbox Edition (£6.69) for PC play.

Ninja Master Toru offers a unique blend of action platforming and stealth gameplay. The limited shuriken and emphasis on avoiding detection create a tense and strategic experience that sets it apart from traditional platformers.

Ready to Embrace the Shadows?

Ninja Master Toru is available now on Xbox and PC. If you’re seeking a challenging and rewarding platformer with a stealthy twist, be sure to check it out.

Ninja Master Tor Description

An evil curse that transforms the dead into living corpses was cast upon the land. The only way to stop the entire nation from crumbling to the undead is defeating the Kind of Undead, but entire armies of soldiers were annihilated and transformed into zombies. Only the master of steath, Ninja Master Toru, can infiltrate into the enemy territory and claim the leader’s head! Ninja Master Toru is a retro action platformer, with a charming art ressembling the game boy era. Control Toru and defeat all enemies on each level, but watch out as you have a limited number of shuriken! The main goal is to defeat every single undead from a distance, without being noticed. Can a lone ninja save the nation from impending doom?
