Trasmoz Legends
Trasmoz Legends – out now on modern consoles and PC

Trasmoz Legends is the explosive finale to a beloved retro trilogy, and it has just been inserted into the coin slot of modern consoles and PC, delivering a pure, unfiltered blast of 1980s arcade energy.

Trasmoz Legends, the final chapter in the series from developer Volcano Bytes, has launched through JanduSoft, now available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation, Steam, and Nintendo Switch for just ÂŁ6.69.

Prepare for a game with ultra-crisp pixel art limited to just 16 colours, a chiptune soundtrack powered by a legendary sound chip, and a brutal, relentless final boss that will hunt you through a cursed and cryptic world.

The Final Hunt

In Trasmoz Legends, you will face a relentless final boss that hunts you through a series of dangerous environments, from cursed villages and cryptic forests to decaying catacombs. It’s a brutal, fast-paced challenge that will test the skills of both hardcore veterans and curious newcomers.

The game is built to be enjoyed by everyone, with four distinct game modes to choose from:

  • Family: An easier mode for those new to the challenge.
  • Classic: The standard, tough-as-nails arcade experience.
  • Speedrun: For those who want to race against the clock and top the leaderboards.
  • Endless: A pure high-score chase against a never-ending onslaught.

You can take on these challenges solo, or team up with a friend in local co-op for some classic couch competition.

This is a true love letter to the golden age of coin-op gaming. Trasmoz Legends features stunning and authentic 8-bit pixel art, with sprites limited to just 16 colours. The incredible chiptune soundtrack is powered by the legendary Yamaha YM2203 sound chip, the very same one used in many classic arcade machines, bringing the spirit of 1984 to life.

Another Unique Title from JanduSoft

Publisher JanduSoft continues to bring a wide variety of unique and interesting indie titles to the Xbox platform. The pure retro arcade action of Trasmoz Legends joins a diverse library that has recently included the chaotic party racer Smoots Crazy Wave and the grim and serious mystery of DETECTIVE – Scene Crime.

It’s important to note that Trasmoz Legends on Xbox does not support Xbox Play Anywhere.

Key Features

  • The Explosive Finale to the Trasmoz Trilogy: A retro arcade platformer built like a lost 1980s cabinet.
  • Four Game Modes: Choose from Family, Classic, Speedrun, and Endless.
  • True 8-Bit Style: Features 16-colour sprites and an authentic YM2203 chiptune soundtrack.
  • Local Co-op for 2 Players: Team up with a friend for some couch co-op action.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
