Bye Sweet Carole – out now on PC and console

The eerie mystery of Bunny Hall has finally been unravelled, as Bye Sweet Carole, a highly anticipated horror adventure inspired by the golden era of hand-drawn animation has arrived on consoles and PC.

From Chris Darril, the acclaimed creator of the Remothered series, Bye Sweet Carole has launched today, 9th October 2025.

This haunting new title from developers Little Sewing Machine and Meangrip Studios, and publisher Maximum Entertainment, is now available on Xbox Series X, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC for ÂŁ20.99.

Prepare to immerse yourself in a beautifully animated world where dark fairy tales and nightmarish realities intertwine, as you search for your missing friend in a twisted tale of fear and fantasy.

Caught Between Two Worlds

The story of Bye Sweet Carole is set in early 20th Century England, as the suffrage movement begins to reshape society. You play as young Lana Benton, who is desperately searching for her missing friend, Carole Simmons.

Her path leads her through the ominous Bunny Hall orphanage and on to the mysterious kingdom of Corolla, a place controlled by the sinister Mr. Kyn, the ruthless owl Velenia, and swarms of ravenous tar bunnies. Lana finds herself caught between two worlds, and she must find a way to survive and uncover the dark truth behind Carole’s disappearance.

Explore Eerie Halls and a Fantastical World

This is an adventure that blends horror-fantasy with a mix of gameplay styles. You will need to explore the eerie halls of Bunny Hall and the fantastical world of Corolla, each filled with its own secrets and dangers. Along the way, you’ll meet a cast of memorable characters, from the kind Mr. Baesie to the ominous owl Velenia.

Your journey will involve a mix of puzzle solving, sneaking around deathly enemies, and overcoming platforming challenges. One of the key mechanics is the ability to transform into a rabbit, allowing you to use your different forms to escape the threats that lurk in Bunny Hall and Corolla.

A Physical Release Coming Soon

For those who prefer a physical copy, Bye Sweet Carole has also launched physically on PS5 and Nintendo Switch in EMEA and Australia today, with the physical edition hitting the Americas on 21st October.
