A Pretty Odd Bunny sinks its teeth into PC and console gamers

Are you ready for some stealth platforming… but with a twist? That’s exactly what you’ll be able to find in A Pretty Odd Bunny

Rolling out onto Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch and PC, A Pretty Odd Bunny is 2Awesome Studio’s latest platformer. But whilst you may well expect this to be just some cheap and cheerful throwaway adventure, you’d be wrong. See, stick some red eyes on a bunny and it fast turns into a bloodthirsty bundle of evil.

In A Pretty Odd Bunny you get to play as, well, a bunny. But this rabbit is unlike any other and has found a bit of a taste for blood. Mostly pig blood, but still, blood. The problem is, the rest of your rabbit community have yet to approve of such culinary cuisines and are constantly on the charge, attempting to stop you from sinking your huge bunny gnashers into the squealing ones.

Sold with the promise of ‘beautiful graphics and smooth animations’, A Pretty Odd Bunny has been put together lovingly, frame by frame, in order to provide platforming fans with something just a little different to the norm.

There are no less than 80 of these stages in place, with extra challenges built-in on top of that. Throw in some super precise platforming controls, and this is one bunny-themed adventure that you should be taking in.

We’re on a full review of A Pretty Odd Bunny on Xbox as soon as we can (and honestly, we’re looking forward to this one perhaps more than we should!), delivering up our full verdict in the days ahead. You can be sure this one is a far cry from the delightful Barry the Bunny or the multitude of other bunny themed games found in SokoBunny, Kick It, Bunny! and Bunny Parking.

For now though you’ll find A Pretty Odd Bunny downloadable from the usual stores – hit up the Xbox Store if you’re an Xbox gamer. Alternatively, it’s available on PlayStation, Switch (11th Nov) and PC (11th Nov) too.

Game Description:

A Pretty Odd Bunny is a 2D stealth platformer about a rabbit who likes eating pigs. You play as a red-eyed rabbit and help him reach the pig at the end of the levels without letting other rabbits see you! Find the right path through the levels so your fellow bunnies don’t see you. They don’t approve of your food choices and will try to stop you if they see your intentions. Walk, run and jump into a colorful but dangerous world full of beautiful graphics and smooth animations. Created frame by frame with love and passion. Explore more than 80 levels in 4 unique worlds, collect hidden coins, unlock extra challenges with cute characters, gorey action, blood, and a lot of severed pig’s heads.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
