A trio of fan-favourite The Walking Dead characters join Brawlhalla

There have been a fair few crossovers involving free-to-play Brawlhalla, with popular brands like WWE and Ben 10 crashing into the universe since its inception. Coming off the back of the recent season finale, three immensely popular characters from AMC’s long-running series The Walking Dead are now available as ‘Epic Crossovers’ on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, PC and mobile. Can you guess who they are?

An in-game event based on AMC’ The Walking Dead has just begun in Brawlhalla, which includes a new game mode where you have to fight off endless waves of walkers for as long as you can alongside some friends. There are three new special characters to get your hands on too – Michonne will be an Epic Crossover for Koji, Rick Grimes is an Epic Crossover for Barraza, and Daryl Dixon an Epic Crossover for Ember. This in-game event also brings a new map into play, depicting the survivors’ prison from seasons three and four of The Walking Dead, whilst featuring a new podium and a new KO effect.

Given that Brawlhalla is free-to-play, there’s nothing stopping you from indulging in the platform fighting antics it has to offer. Even putting aside the new additions, it still boasts more than 50 unique characters as well as a host of single-player and co-op modes to partake in. Brawlhalla also supports cross-platform play between Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, PC, iOS, and Android!

Are you happy with The Walking Dead trio of characters that have been brought into Brawlhalla, or would you have preferred someone else for an Epic Crossover? Feel free to leave a comment below and let us know your thoughts.

Been gaming casually since the SNES as a youngster but found my true passion for games on the Playstation 1 (the forbidden word ooo). My addiction grew to its pinnacle with the purchase of an Xbox 360 & Xbox Live Service. A recovering GS hunter that will still play literally any game.
