It seems like the weeks just fly by in the world of Xbox and once again, another seven days have passed. What were the biggest and best Xbox One & Xbox 360 news, reviews and videos? Let us give our opinion!
We have to admit that the start of the year has been a little short on sexy game videos. That has however completely changed in the last week or so. The following shouldn’t be missed.
- New trailer released for Life is Strange Episode 2
- First gameplay trailer for Blood Bowl 2 released
- Giana Sisters: Dream Runners coming to Xbox One, PS4 and PC. Teased with a trailer!
- First trailer released for LEGO Jurassic World
Whilst the vast majority of the videos above are building the hype for future titles, there are times when we just want to know about what is happening right now. With that in mind, we posted no less than five reviews, a hands-on preview and an opinion post in the last few days.
Ziggurat is available to buy right now on Xbox One. Coming from the PC side of things with some great reviews, we just had to take a look at it prior to its release on the new generation of videogame consoles. We weren’t let down by what it brought us either, with a modern twist on old school first person dungeon crawling giving us plenty of joy. A few gameplay issues aside, it should be something to check out right now on Xbox One…but in case you are on the fence, have a read of our review first.
We also managed to get our thoughts out there in regards White Night, the latest survival thrilling puzzler to hit the Xbox One Games Store, the 2D sandboxer Terraria and Episode 2 of Resident Evil Revelations 2. Hit the links and be prepared to open the old wallet with at least two of the three.
Dragon Ball Xenoverse was also on our hit list and being big fans of the Dragon Ball series, we were pretty excited to get the chance to check out the latest Xbox One offering. With the ability to create your own character (you really should see some of the worldwide creations), the Dragon Ball universe opens up like never before…but is the rest of the game as good as the character modeling? Well, our review will tell you just that.
But that wasn’t all to hit TheXboxHub’s pages as a trip to EGX Rezzed 2015 and the 2K offices in Windsor, UK allowed us the opportunity to take in a few currently unreleased gems. There’s no debating Borderlands: The Handsome Collection is going to be a big hit when it releases next week on Xbox One, but it was great to get some hands on time with the full HD, new gen versions of Borderlands 2 and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel. It didn’t disappoint either.
The big deal for us this last week though has to be the chance to grab hands on time with some great games at EGX Rezzed 2015. Whilst we managed to grab a few hours with many great titles, there were three that really stood out. What were they? Let our ‘The 3 games that stoles EGX Rezzed 2015’ article tell you!
Finally I’d like to leave you with a decision, well at least for the golf fans out there. EA Sports Rory McIlroy PGA Tour or The Golf Club Collector’s Edition? Which will it be? Only you can decide.
Catch ya soon.
