This week there’s a great deal of news, announcements and a review of a game every man and woman in the gaming world has been waiting for. Grab a seat, maybe a hot beverage and have a gander.
It may have been released the previous week but that doesn’t stop Titanfall being all over the place still. Dominating the news was the unfortunate announcement for the delay to the Xbox 360 release, bad times. Following that was notes for the upcoming patch for the Xbox One version to fix various bugs and make a few improvements. If you’re still unsure about purchasing the game itself then our review might just help sway you one way or another.
Indie developers have been given a megaphone for their voices and games to be heard and played by the masses. We’re on about the ID@Xbox program that will allow these developers to publish their own titles. A selection of these upcoming games were announced midweek; here are some of our highlights – Chuck’s Challenge, Forced, Guacamelee! Super Turbo Championship Edition, Contrast, Calibre 10 Racing Series and a couple from Zen Studios.
EA Sports UFC is shaping up to be an Ultimate Fighting game to put to shame all of those previously gone before it. Currently showing off a roster that is still being added to regularly, your favourite fighters are bound to be there. To fully understand the excitement we urge you to check out the gameplay video showcasing the fine detail gone into the fights for a realistic feel.
March 19th was a landmark day for those folk over at EA Sports, especially the FIFA department. The FIFA Ultimate Team feature became five years old and it’s fair to say it keeps growing from strength to strength. They’ve decided to give stuff away alongside special tournaments and subsequently special rare packs to open.
