E3 2014 is fast approaching and new Xbox One and Xbox 360 announcements have dominated the last week. Let’s take a look back at the biggest Xbox news and reviews from the last seven days.

We’ll start by throwing a few TXH bits and bobs at you and apologies for the absolutely huge number of links this article is going to contain….it’s been a busy week!

Our review of Watch Dogs went live in the last week and alongside that you’ll hopefully also know that we are currently nearing the end of our Xbox One Watch Dogs competition. If you haven’t already entered, there is only a day or so left to get involved and it’s super easy to get involved….Hop over to YouTube, watch our video, subscribe to our channel and then leave a comment below it. Easy eh!? We’ll be drawing a winner on Monday 9th June so hurry up and get involved.

We also gave you our thoughts of the recently released EA Sports UFC Demo, exactly what we do (and don’t) want to see in the upcoming Xbox One and Xbox 360 racer, Forza Horizon 2, a review of The Wolf Among Us Episode 4: In Sheep’s Clothing AND some thoughts on why the latest Xbox announcement with regards to 45+ new Xbox apps isn’t all that great for those of us outside of the United States.

And then alongside all those thoughts and opinions came the news of a million and one new games coming to Xbox One and Xbox 360 in the very near future. The list is rather extensive but more than worth a look:

Even though tradition is for the announcements to hit home during E3, you can see from the list above that there’s been a good many exciting new games, apps and ideas coming to both Xbox One and Xbox 360 both this and next year. There have been promises coming from Xbox HQ that even more special announcements will drop during E3 so we fully advise you to keep an eye out on TXH for the very latest. We’ll be tweeting during the shows with the hastags #E32014 and #E3TXH and it would be great to catch you on Twitter during the main events.

And finally, there have been two more stories covered by us this last week that we are super excited about.

We only heard about a very interesting Kickstarter project in the last few days, but ‘We Made A Game’ should be something that excites the vast majority of gamers the world over. You see, We Made A Game isn’t a game, it’s a documentary covering the trials and tribulations of making an Xbox One title; from the very start right up until the very end. The feature length documentary will take viewers through the whole game development pipeline from start to finish, showing those who have risked their financial security and personal relationships to achieve the dream of creating their own independent games studio….and at the end of it all, they’ve have an Xbox One title ready for us to play and enjoy! You can still get involved in their Kickstarter and it would be great to see the guys at Deco Digital hit a stretch goal or two.

And then there was this trailer from 2K. A trailer that embodies everything Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel is about. It needs no further introduction. Watch it, and we’ll catch you next week. Enjoy!

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore. Gamertag is neil363, feel free to add me to your list.
