Been living in a cave for the last week and need to check out the best Xbox One and Xbox 360 news and reviews from the last 7 days? Bit o’ luck we’re here then!
And we shall start by pointing you in the direction of a few reviews. Two to be precise and both covering two Xbox One games that we feel you should be checking out.
First up Gemma; our resident Kinect reviewer and all round dance freak, had a little play with Harmonix’s new dance title, Dance Central Spotlight. Exclusive to Xbox One, Spotlight basically brings more of what was always good about previous DC titles….lots of songs and some decent old dance moves, but this time round it’s download only and is dirt cheap to pick up. So should you? Read our Dance Central Spotlight review and get swayed into a purchase.
Secondly, we’ve had the pleasure of going all-in for the last week or so with Team 17’s latest game, Flockers. The worms are gone and in their place are some lovable little sheep; lovable little sheep that need a hand or two in escaping the factory they are cooped up in. It’s a bit of a modern day Lemmings and our review tells you exactly why you should be thinking about purchasing it when it drops on the 19th Sept 2014.
Over to the news side of things and it’s been a week chock-a-block with new trailers. There are far too many to go into depth about so the best thing you can do is check out and hit the links below. There’s some bloody good stuff in there.
- New Shadow of Mordor Behind the Scenes trailer feat. Troy Baker and Nolan North
- New Assassin’s Creed Unity Co-op Walkthrough Trailer
- New Styx: Master of Shadows gameplay video released
- Check out London in the latest Sherlock Holmes Crimes & Punishments trailer
- Forza Horizon 2 launch trailer shows the beauty of the open road
- Latest trailer for The Crew shows the social aspect of racing
- Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution launch trailer released
If trailers aren’t your thing, then you’ll probably quite like to read details of the Season Passes which have just been announced for the bonkers Sunset Overdrive and LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham (probably equally bonkers), whilst Batman fans can also swot up on the recently announced release date and collectors edition version of Batman Arkham Knight.
Finally for this week, TheXboxHub also told you about how to nab the years biggest game release, Destiny for free and gave details of the latest Xbox One system update for October….it’s already rolling out to preview members and looks to be taking Microsofts bestest console to another level!
Oh, and if you’re going to EGX 2014 in a couple of weeks, Ubisoft and Square Enix have dropped details of what you can expect to get hands on with at the show.
It’s looking like it’ll be a great few days at London’s premier gaming event…..fancy meeting up for a beer?
