A whopping 16 games announced at X018 for Xbox Game Pass including PUBG

-

Contain the excitement for a few minutes please, just whilst we break down the ton of Xbox Game Pass titles that have been unveiled, with some coming in the distant future and the rest arriving not too far away at all. There’s even one that’s available already, how awesome is that?

At the X018 event in Mexico, the Inside Xbox team had a blast and provided regular pieces of news to us regarding new and upcoming games, and a few older ones, that are heading to Xbox Game Pass. So let’s start with the immediate arrival of Thief of Thieves, a game based on the comic book series of the same name by Robert Kirkman (The Walking Dead). The whole of Season One is here and places you in the role of a cat burglar, needing to pull off some high profile heists across the world and make vital choices in the process.

And then on the 12th November, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is bringing along that highly addictive battle royale gameplay for subscribers to try their hand at achieving a ‘Winner Winner Chicken Dinner’ by being the last person standing. Fast forward a tad to 22nd November and even more games turn up in the form of Agents of Mayhem, MXGP3 and Thomas Was Alone – the latter of which we implore you to give a go, at the very least. But hold on, because there’s more as the fantastic Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice arrives on 17th December, with Ori and the Blind Forest as well as Kingdom Two Crowns expected in December.

After that, the timings get a little murkier, but here’s a full list of those incoming for Xbox Game Pass (dates listed if known):

  • Thief of Thieves – OUT NOW
  • PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds – 12th Nov
  • Agents of Mayhem – 22nd Nov
  • MXGP3 – 22nd Nov
  • Thomas Was Alone – 22nd Nov
  • Hellblade: Shenua’s Sacrifice – 17th Dec
  • Ori and the Blind Forest – Dec
  • Kingdom Two Crowns – Dec
  • Aftercharge
  • Supermarket Shriek
  • Mutant Year Zero
  • Ori and the Will of the Wisps
  • Pathologic 2
  • The Good Life
  • Void Bastards
  • Secret Neighbor

That’s a healthy amount of quality games heading into the Xbox Game Pass library, but which of them are standouts for you? Get in touch and let us know by leaving a comment below or messaging us on any of our social media platforms!

Been gaming casually since the SNES as a youngster but found my true passion for games on the Playstation 1 (the forbidden word ooo). My addiction grew to its pinnacle with the purchase of an Xbox 360 & Xbox Live Service. A recovering GS hunter that will still play literally any game.
