The shores of Cayo Perico are no longer a paradise, but a deadly proving ground.
The latest weekly update for GTA Online is now live, and it introduces an all-new and totally unexpected challenge: Cayo Perico Survival.
This fresh twist on the fan-favourite mode transports players to El Rubio’s tropical island to take on hordes of bizarre and unique undead foes.
And this brand-new mode is the headline act of a packed week that also features a host of double rewards on other activities and a treasure trove of free clothing items for players to claim.
A Tropical Twist on a Classic Mode
After a week spent earning big with Simeon’s missions in our last GTA Online update, the focus now shifts from criminal enterprise to pure, chaotic survival. The island of Cayo Perico has been overrun by the undead, and it’s your job to fight through the hordes and make it to the airstrip for evacuation.
This isn’t your average zombie horde. The tropical climate has produced some truly weird reanimated ravers. You’ll need to cut your way through waves of unique enemies, including musket-wielding conquistadors, panther trainers and their feral pets, swarms of splitters, and more.
Double Rewards on Cayo Perico
To reward your bravery, the new Cayo Perico Survival is paying out 2x GTA$ and RP all week long (and a massive 4x for GTA+ Members).
Surviving is its own reward, but a little free gear never hurts. Rockstar is handing out a bunch of free apparel this week.
- “I Survived Cayo Perico Tee”: Earned just for playing the new Cayo Perico Survival mode.
- The Buccaneer Outfit & GTA$100,000: This pirate-themed outfit and a bonus GTA$100K are yours if you can complete all ten waves of any Survival.
- Panther Tour Jacket: A free jacket for anyone who plays GTA Online anytime this week or next.
