Here we are again with another ACA NEOGEO title to chat about. Are you ready to become the King of the Monsters?
Originally released way back in 1991 (possibly before you were born!), King of the Monsters allows you the chance to take charge of one of six monsters, before battling your way across Japan in your quest to become the King of all monsterz.
You’ll need to kick, punch and master even more attacks in order to succeed, but due to the new addition of being able to amend the game difficulty, shouldn’t find it too much of a hassle. You’ll also be able to get yourself, and your score, added to the worldwide leaderboards.

KING OF THE MONSTERS is an action game released by SNK in 1991. Players choose from one of the six monsters available, and battle their way across Japan in order to claim the title of strongest monster. In addition to normal attacks such as punches and kicks, master more destructive techniques such as flame and beam attacks to overcome the enemies. The “ACA NEOGEO” series has faithfully reproduced many classic NEOGEO masterpieces. Players can change various game settings such as game difficulty, and also reproduce the atmosphere of arcade display settings at that time.
