jumanji the video game

If you wish to seek a new game, in order to find a way to leave your world behind, prepare to be thrown into a hilarious adventure this November as the dangerous jungle of Jumanji awaits.

That’s right, Jumanji: The Video Game has just been unveiled by Bandai Namco, Outright Games and UK developers Funsolve, in collaboration with Sony Pictures. It’s an officially licensed 3D action-adventure game set in the world of the successful film franchise of the same name and sees you take control of Jumanji’s greatest heroes. The precious Jewels of Jumanji must be found, the world needs saving and you need to discover a way home. Unfortunately, there’s a deadly array of exotic creatures, dangerous locations and an army of evil marauders trying to halt your efforts.

Join the action with up to three friends to embark upon an adventure full of humour in online or split-screen modes, as you tackle all new Jumanji environments and choose your hero from the stars of the most recent film, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle; there’s Dr. Smolder Bravestone, Ruby Roundhouse, Franklin “Mouse” Finbar, and Professor Shelly Oberon. Combining their unique abilities is important to try and keep each other alive.

“This is a dream come true for our studio” Funsolve Founder and Director, Richard Tawn said “Adapting the exotic, dangerous and hilarious world of Jumanji into a video game has pushed us to create something truly special. We’ve got some incredibly exciting features and reveals coming soon, but for now let’s just say the game is coming this November, and puts you in the shoes of iconic Jumanji heroes.”

“Jumanji is a property we have been eager to work with for a long time” said Terry Malham, CEO of Outright Games “Our specialty as a video game publisher is in producing high-quality interactive-entertainment for the whole family to enjoy and there is no brand more exciting for families right now than Jumanji.”

Jumanji: The Video Game is set for a worldwide release on 15th November, 2019 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC, arriving just in time to excite the masses ahead of the next film instalment.
