Should you like nothing more than grabbing your balls and hitting the lanes with a bit of ten-pin action, then you may feel a little disappointed with the bowling options available on Xbox. Today though things change as FarSight Studios deliver access to PBA Pro Bowling 2021 on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4 and Switch. 

Bowling games are fairly limited on the marketplace, and even though the recent drop of The Four Kings Casino and Slots has delivered a viable mini-option, and GTA IV is still hassling us to go strike some pins with Roman – surely after all these years, he’s got something better on? – for the most part bowling titles are pretty thin on the ground. But that is where PBA Pro Bowling 2021 comes in. 

Priced at £20.99 and still managing to find time to add in a ton of Gold Pin add-ons, PBA Pro Bowling 2021 is the latest ball grabber from FarSight Studios, hopefully taking what they learnt from 2019’s release of the original PBA Pro Bowling and moving it on a level. 

This time around we are being promised the ultimate game for all bowling fans. Some statement, but on the face of it they could well be right; mainly as there isn’t a lot of competition going up against it. Officially licensed by the Pro Bowlers Association (hence the name), PBA Pro Bowling 2021 delivers you the best of the best, with 26 of the top bowling arms in place in game, with their strikes, turkeys and gutterballs called out by the broadcasting team. 

PBA Pro Bowling 2021 will cater for the solo bowler, or those who prefer to go head-to-head with friends and family with a deep Career and online balling options in place. With ball and pin physics that have tightened up since the previous game, further additions like oil patterns of the lanes and more than 150 different ball types – hopefully all round – from various manufacturers, and you’ve got the lot required of a bowling simulator.
