So much has already been said about Two Point Hospital since it launched on Steam back in August 2018 but today is the day that it finally releases on home consoles, completely revamped and remapped for our controllers.
A spiritual successor to legendary hospital sim Theme Hospital, Two Point Hospital is created by some of the alumni from Bullfrog Productions, who were also responsible for Theme Park and its’ sequels. Players are tasked with being a hospital manager who must build their very own hospital and maintain it. Patients will come and go with a variety of ailments including Light-headedness, Cubism and Freddie Mercury impersonators suffering from ‘Mock Star’. As bizarre and humourous these illnesses must seem, please remain professional throughout their stay in your hospital.
Along with building rooms and filling them with the correct equipment, all the other hallmarks of simulation games are here: staffing, research, objectives, awards and coming soon will be the sandbox mode where players can freely build the hospital of their dreams! If dreaming of hospitals is your thing at least.
This console version of Two Point Hospital also contains two additional pieces of content originally released as DLC for PC players – Bigfoot and Pebberley Island – as part of one big package for patient console players.

Two Point Hospital is available now on Xbox One priced at £34.99 but before you rush to the buy button, Game Pass owners will be pleased to know the game is available on the subscription service at launch. But with two DLC packs included and regular updates on the way, even without Game Pass this looks to be a shrewd purchase for a highly anticipated game. You’ll also find the game available at the PlayStation Store and Nintendo eShop.
