Agatha Christie – Death on the Nile has now got a fully confirmed release date, as well as a rather tasty Limited edition.
Coming to Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and PC on September 25th 2025, this modern adaptation of the Queen of Crime’s classic novel introduces a fresh narrative twist with two playable protagonists: the legendary Hercule Poirot and a brand-new character created for the game, detective Jane Royce.
Further is that of a Limited Edition. You’ll see it in the image below, but expect to be found enjoying a copy of the full Agatha Christie – Death on the Nile game, a 48-page artbook: “The Art of Death on the Nile”, a stylish bookmark and the game’s original soundtrack (digital format).

Microids and Microids Studio Lyon today announce Agatha Christie – Death on the Nile, a new adventure and investigation game based on the iconic novel.
Set to launch in 2025 on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch, this new title promises a thrilling and immersive experience that will transport players to the glamorous world of 1970s Egypt. If you have played previous Agatha Christie games, we’d suspect this will appeal.
A Murder Most Foul
In Death on the Nile, a seemingly idyllic cruise down the Nile River takes a dark turn when a shocking murder disrupts the tranquility. Fortunately, the renowned detective Hercule Poirot is on board, ready to unravel the mystery and bring the culprit to justice.
But this time, he’s not alone. Joining the investigation is Jane Royce, a private detective pursuing a murderer from London to Majorca, New York, and finally to the heart of Egypt.
