The Eastasiasoft team are fairly regular with their console releases, popping up on a weekly basis to fill our our digital libraries. The latest game to come from that team is Albacete Warrior – a bloody bonkers, utterly bizarre martial arts adventure.
Albacete Warrior has been created by those at FAS3, picked up by Eastasiasoft as they continue their march towards indie world domination, sending players on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch off on a silly Spanish adventure.
It has you playing as Benito, a Spanish ninja who teams up with his chicken mate Pepito and sensei Paco, before travelling the world. It plays out through a variety of 3D environments mixed with 2D pixel arted characters, running side-scrolling beat ’em up combat opportunities.
Albacete Warrior will task you with making your way across the globe, taking on hordes of foes, leaping and sprinting through the stages ahead. Thankfully that leaping and sprinting should be second nature as Benito has s decent turn of pace. And being a ninja means his agility levels are high too.
With solo and cooperative play at hand, if you’re looking to run, jump, slash and make the most of a little chicken pal, then Albacete Warrior should well be for you.
