City Transport Simulator Tram – now on Xbox and PC

Ding ding! Get ready to embark on a journey through the charming city of Tramau with City Transport Simulator: Tram on Xbox and PC.

A new simulation game that puts you in the driver’s seat of a variety of meticulously detailed trams, City Transport Simulator: Tram has been developed by ViewApp and published by Dovetail Games. This immersive experience invites players to explore a vibrant cityscape, manage intricate tram networks, and transport passengers with precision and efficiency.

A Tram-endous Legacy

As fans of the genre will recall, we’ve previously explored the world of tram simulation with TramSim: Console Edition and Tram Simulator: Urban Transit.

While those games offered a taste of tram operation, City Transport Simulator: Tram promises a more comprehensive and engaging experience, with a focus on both driving and management aspects of the profession.

Build Your Tram Empire

In City Transport Simulator: Tram, you’ll have the opportunity to build your own tram network from the ground up.

Start with a single tram line and gradually expand your reach across the city, connecting different districts and transporting passengers to their destinations. Manage your resources, upgrade your trams, and optimise your routes to create a thriving and efficient transportation system.

Features That Will Keep You on Track

  • Career Mode: Embark on a challenging career as an operations manager, starting with limited resources and gradually expanding your tram network. Complete missions, earn experience, and unlock new trams and upgrades to enhance your operations.
  • Sandbox Mode: Enjoy a more relaxed experience with Sandbox Mode, where you can freely explore the city, create custom tram lines, and transport passengers without the pressure of objectives or timetables.
  • Realistic Trams: Operate a variety of meticulously detailed trams, each with its own unique characteristics and handling. Master the art of tram driving, navigating through busy streets and adhering to strict schedules.
  • Authentic City: Explore the vibrant city of Tramau, inspired by southern Germany, with its charming architecture, bustling streets, and iconic landmarks.
  • Dynamic Environments: Experience the city’s atmosphere with realistic day-night cycles and weather effects that impact your tram operations.

Choose Your Edition, Embark on Your Journey

City Transport Simulator: Tram offers three editions to suit your tram-driving ambitions:

  • Standard Edition (ÂŁ19.99): Includes the base game and three real-world trams: the ULF B1, R2.2b, and ULF A1.
  • Deluxe Edition (ÂŁ29.99): Includes the base game, five real-world trams (including the StadtRegioTram and Type D Vienna), and additional customisation options.
  • Collector’s Edition (ÂŁ44.99): Includes the base game, seven real-world trams (including the E1 Vienna and GT8N Mannheim), and exclusive bonus content.

A Tram-tastic Simulation Experience

City Transport Simulator: Tram is set to offer a unique and engaging simulation experience that combines the thrill of driving with the strategic challenges of managing a transportation network. We’ll find out in full review – keep an eye out for our thoughts.

I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
