Time to grab the lycra, the silly shoes and the expensive bikes before heading up and down the very best countryside and hills that France can muster, all so you can grab that coveted yellow jersey. Yep, it’s time for Le Tour, and that means the annual video gaming version has arrived!
Available right now on Xbox One and PS4, Tour de France 17 is the latest in the ever increasing line of TDF games, celebrating the fact that the Tour de France is nearly with us. Replicating that of the real-world cycling event which kicks off in July, no matter which team you support and no matter which rider you’ll be stick your money on, the Tour de France 2017 is the official video game of Le Tour, and will enable the chance to channel your inner Chris Froome, Nairo Quintana or Mark Cavendish.
If you’re an Xbox One player and have a passion for cycling, then the Xbox Games Store will sort you out. Just make sure you drop the required £39.99 its way.

Now, you may have noticed that I haven’t yet spoken about the PC version of the game, and that’s because yet again, those PC players get a slightly different take on things. Pro Cycling Manager 2017 on PC, you take the role of a sports manager who has to compete against the best teams in the world during an exceptional cycling season, taking the Tour to a whole new level. We’d love to one day be able to check this out on console, but for now, we’re left with the standard Tour de France 2017 version.
