Aery Ancient Empires
Aery Ancient Empires is the latest in the series

It’s time for Xbox players to fly high once more with the Aery series, as some Ancient Empires move into view.

Aery is back

Available as the latest in the ever-increasingly long Aery franchise of games is Aery – Ancient Empires. It’s downloadable and playable on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S right now, all for just £8.39.

If you have frequented the Xbox Store over the last few years, you will know of EpiXR Games and their Aery series. This one is a super serene affair, giving you control of a little bird, flying high, soaring this way and that, all as exploration and a journey plays out.

With memory shards to gather up and various destinations to visit, there’s rarely anything too taxing in an Aery game. We would suspect similar to be the case with Ancient Empires too, left to take in the glorious sights and vistas that pop into view.

Buy now!

We’ll let you know how it plays in our full review of Aery – Ancient Empires on Xbox, but before those thoughts drop, you can get in on the action for yourself. The Xbox Store page for Aery – Ancient Empires is live. Once that cash is sent over, you’ll find that you can play the game on either Xbox One or Xbox Series X|S.

Let us know if you’ll be continuing your Aery journey. The comments are below.

Aery – Ancient Empires Description

In Aery – Ancient Empires you play as a little bird-like spirit that watches ancient civilizations evolve. You will discover unknown, giant, and beautiful environments and you will be able to enjoy the feeling of flying while exploring a whole world filled with beauty and little secrets. Within every area of the world, you must find a certain amount of memory shards to remember the path that leads to your destination and advance with the story. Once you have found all the memory shards you are free to explore the next area.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore. Gamertag is neil363, feel free to add me to your list.
