Another 2010s Mix Pack delivers more Rocksmith tunes

Latest Reviews

If you’re a Rocksmith player then you’ll know that ever since release there has been a slew of new content delivered on a near weekly basis. There have been packs of tunes from specific artists, there have been songs that whisked us back many decades and there have been cult classics for us to learn, play and master. Today we see another pack arrive for Rocksmith players to mull over – the 2010s Mix Song Pack V.

Available for all players no matter whether they are rocking out to tunes on Rocksmith 2014 Edition or Rocksmith Remastered, the 2010s Mix Song Pack V brings all of the following to action…

  • Elle King – Ex’s and Oh’s
  • The War on Drugs – Red Eyes
  • Coldplay – Paradise

Priced up at £6.39, with each individual track also available for a measly £2.39 each, if you’re on Xbox One or Xbox 360 then the Xbox Store will sort you out with a download. Similarly, those jamming away on PS3 or PS4 will do well to visit their own store.

Rocksmith – no matter which of the two versions you grab – promises to teach you the way of the guitar in no time at all. In fact it sells itself on the back of being the fastest way to learn guitar. We tend to agree with that statement too – as our full review points to.

So, will you be looking to download the tunes from the magicians of Coldplay, the brilliant Elle King or The War on Drugs? Or are you holding out for something that comes with a bit more rock about it? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore. Gamertag is neil363, feel free to add me to your list.
