Two Knights, One Kingdom To Save

Set in a mythical version of Camelot before the formation of the Round Table, Blades & Battles follows Arthur and Lancelot as they face a kingdom overrun by supernatural creatures, undead warriors and other dangerous foes.

The pair must fight their way through a fantasy world inspired by Arthurian legend, with the wicked sorceress Morgana le Fay standing behind the growing threat.

Arthur and Lancelot bring different approaches to combat. Arthur favours powerful strikes and sweeping attacks, while Lancelot relies on speed, agility and rapid combos. Players can experiment with their moves, chain attacks together and discover ways to take down increasingly formidable enemies.

Take On Camelot With A Friend

Solo play is available, but the game also supports local co-op for two players, bringing back the familiar appeal of sharing a screen and battling through waves of enemies together.

With its blend of Arthurian fantasy, pixel-inspired visuals and arcade-style combat, Blades & Battles offers a chance to revisit the days of the classic couch co-op brawler. At ÂŁ12.49, it’s now available across Xbox (through the Xbox Store with Play Anywhere), PC, PlayStation and Nintendo Switch.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
