Anyone who has been following our pages for a while will realise that we garner a huge amount of joy from the games which Artifex Mundi release. Well good news because they’ve just announced they’ll be dropping no less than six games over the course of February and March – with Xbox One owners getting access to a brand new title in the process.

You may have played an Artifex Mundi title previously, in fact, if you haven’t then you don’t know what you’re missing out on. With the likes of Clockwork Tales: Of Ink and Glass, Nightmares from the Deep: The Cursed Heart, Grim Legends: The Forsaken Bride and a ton more, all delivering magnificent experiences on Xbox One, then the news of a new title coming our way is too good to keep quiet.

So, what are we getting? Well, Dark Arcana: The Carnival will be arriving come 17th March 2017. A gripping detective adventure with elements of horror that is set in an evil amusement park, we’re sure it’ll live up to previous Artifex titles. When a young mother disappears suddenly in the middle of the funfair, the player will have to assume the role of a detective and find clues to solve the mystery. What is hiding on the other side of the magic mirror and how is it related to a story of tragic love and a pact with evil forces? You’ll find out in a couple of months.

Whilst that is the only new title AM have detailed for Xbox One owners, they have also promised to bring titles to other formats, including for the first time, Apple TV and Amazon Fire TV. The full release schedule is as follows, so if you want to check out their games away from your Xbox One, you may be interested to see what is coming.

As always, we’ll remind you when Dark Arcana: The Carnival arrives. We can’t wait!

  • February 9th – Queen’s Quest 2: Stories of Forgotten Past (Mobile/Steam)
  • February 16th – Clockwork Tales: Of Glass and Ink (Apple TV/Amazon Fire TV)
  • February 28th – Grim Legends: The Forsaken Bride (PS4)
  • March 9th – Lost Grimoires 2: Shard of Mystery (Mobile/Steam)
  • March 17th – Dark Arcana: The Carnival (Xbox One)
  • March 28th – Nightmares from the Deep 2: The Siren’s Call (PS4)

I misinterpreted that title as meaning 5 ports of existing AM games and one brand new one for the Xbox in 2 months so came away slightly disappointed as you can imagine!

Looking forward to the new one though as I have a real soft spot for these games, especially when I need to really chill out. My wife absolutely adores them too…
