If you are a fan of the mind-bending TV series’ The X-Files, The Twilight Zone or Black Mirror, then Asemblance might just be the gaming equivalent you have been yearning for.
In Asemblance you awake trapped inside an experimental machine which was designed to stimulate memories. To escape, you must delve into a deep dark past: something you may not want to do. But alas, you must, and the first person perspective makes everything that bit more creepy. A mysterious AI voice will guide you, but there are so many things you just don’t know.
But I suppose that’s the way with psychological thrillers, and it is up to you to break the cycle by reliving the memories – are they even your own memories? What we do know however, is that you will be exploring some absolutely outstanding, highly realistic environments throughout the course of Asemblance.
You will have to find out more by picking up Asemblance from the Microsoft Store – something that can be done from today with ÂŁ6.39 and an Xbox One. Just ensure you are mentally stable first though…
If you’re hesitant, then it may well be an idea to hold out for our full review. It’s on its way!
