Remember that eerie folk horror game we first glimpsed back in June? Well, the mystery is about to unravel as Atomfall gets a confirmed release date – dropping Day One on Game Pass.

Rebellion, the studio behind the Sniper Elite series and Zombie Army 4: Dead War, has announced the release date for Atomfall, their chilling new single-player survival-action game.

Mark your calendars for March 27th 2025, when Atomfall will descend upon Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. Not only will it land as a Day One addition to Game Pass, but if you’re eager to brave the nuclear wasteland, pre-orders are now live!

Uncover the Secrets of Windscale

Set in the aftermath of a nuclear disaster, Atomfall tasks players with uncovering the truth behind the catastrophic events at the Windscale nuclear power station.

Explore a dark and atmospheric world, navigate abandoned bunkers, and venture into eerie Pagan ruins as you piece together the clues and confront the strange inhabitants of the quarantine zone.

A Blend of Science Fiction and Folk Horror

Atomfall draws inspiration from classic British science fiction, such as The Day of the Triffids, early Doctor Who, and The Quatermass Experiment, to create a world that’s both familiar and unsettling.

The game’s folk horror influences, as showcased in the recent release date trailer, add another layer of eerie mystery to the experience.
