Carlos Santuana (Sly Boogie1993)

After 20 years of playing every game I can get my hands on, I can now be found selling my soul for anything Resident Evil, Gears of War, or Gamerscore related... all of which will be mastered after a good cuppa!

Tetsumo Party Review – There’s a hole in this wall!

Should you be after a game that can provide hours of fun or even some engaging experiences with friends, then Tetsumo Party isn’t likely to be your go-to game. It has a nice idea and if done better - dare I say maybe even with Kinect from back in the day - we could have been looking at a very interesting game. Sadly, that’s not the case

NASCAR HEAT 4 Review

For a yearly release based on one of the biggest racing franchises, NASCAR Heat 4 doesn’t quite do it justice and even though those wanting a functional racer will find enough to be going on with, there aren't many reasons to pick this over any other racer on the market.

DAYMARE: 1998 – Welcome Home Horror

When it comes to survival horror, the first thing that many will want to talk about are the classic titles that kicked it all off; the Resident Evil’s and the Silent Hill’s of this world. Of course, since that point, survival horror has come a long way, evolving a lot, but that doesn’t mean that there aren’t people out there who appreciate the roots of where it all began. With DAYMARE: 1998, that’s what the focus is centred around.

Take on the role of an elite soldier in Outcast – Second Contact now on Xbox One, PS4 and PC

Star Wars Battlefront II – Tales from the EA Access Trial on Xbox One

Duuh Duuh da da da Duuh Duuh da da da Duuh Duuh dun-dun-dun-duuuuh! That’s right guys, it’s almost here, it’s almost time to jump back into the beloved Star Wars universe once more and join the battle in Star Wars Battlefront 2. That is unless you’re an EA Access subscriber of course, as the Play First trial has already given us the reigns to run free in interstellar battle for ten whole hours over the past few days. As one of those subscribers there was no way I was going to pass up the opportunity to jump into one of the years most anticipated shooters. So, after ten hours of combat in a galaxy far far away, here are my early thoughts on Star Wars Battlefront 2.

The Sims 4 – Tales from the EA Access trial on Xbox One

Try before you buy has been a marketing scheme that has worked wonders for consumers over the years. In gaming however, and in the UK particularly, our local Blockbuster and Choices stores that allowed game renting are no longer a reality and the closest we get to try before you buy is the EA Access App that’s available to Xbox One players. Downloading the trials of upcoming games not only gives us the opportunity to play the finished product several days before release, but also allows us to get a general feel for everything we can expect when the game finally arrives. The Sims 4 is the latest game to take advantage of the EA Access Play First trial, so after years of waiting for the life management sequel, how does the game shape up on Xbox One.

Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus Review

Back in 2016, Bethesda’s E3 conference was one that had been long building excitement amongst gamers. Not only was it just the second ever E3 that saw Bethesda hold their own conference, but after some huge announcements just a year earlier, many were hoping to see something equally as big this time around. It’s fair to say that they pretty much delivered with the announcement of DOOM. Those with a keen eye though would have spotted something special on the pre-briefing DOS prompt that appeared on screen for a few moments - New_Colossus. Now though things are very different than just simple cryptic messages, and Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus is here to continue the fight against the Nazi’s. Does it continue with the same high standards set by its predecessor? I jumped into the shoes of the returning B.J. Blazkowicz to find out.

Why are ‘Complete Editions’ never truly complete?

We’ve all been there haven’t we? Browsing our favourite digital store whilst on the hunt for our next gaming adventure, before spotting that Deluxe Edition, Complete Edition or even the typical Season Pass that we just can’t say no to - only to find several weeks or months later that there’s some new DLC on the horizon that simply isn’t included in our supposed ‘complete version’, and that we’ll need to stump up further cash if we wish to get in on the true complete experience.

Need for Speed Payback focuses on a fast-paced Xbox One, PS4 and PC story of revenge!

If you’re a fan of the recent reboot that was 2015’s Need for Speed, then you’ve probably had your attentions focused on the open-world sequel, Need for Speed Payback. Now the time is finally here to jump in - at least if you fancy getting involved in the Deluxe Edition.

Dead by Daylight: A Nightmare on Elm Street Chapter arrives on Xbox One, PS4

Whilst it may not be the most content filled adventure on Xbox One, there’s no denying Dead by Daylight is classic thrill ride. Since it launched, new killers have been slowly arriving, bringing us some classic killers in the form of Michael Myers from Halloween and even Leatherface. Today however, we have another new addition and this is possibly the most frightening yet.

Raiders of the Broken Planet is getting big changes ahead of its future content

If you have recently taken part in the free Prologue for Raiders of the Broken Planet that’s available on the Microsoft Store, you may have noticed something rather different about the whole experience. If not then you may want to take a look as what was once known as the Free Prologue has now become the Raiders of the Broken Planet Eternal Soldier Campaign.

If you’re one of the many who have jumped into the new Xbox One X experience today, then you’ll be well aware of the new visual opportunities that Microsoft’s newest console brings to the table. And Rise of the Tomb Raider will be no different.

Hitman gets a Game of the Year Upgrade for owners of The Complete First Season. GOTY Edition also available.

Whilst we may be unsure on the future of the popular Hitman series, one thing we know for sure is that the episodic venture was darn brilliant. If you’re one of those who bought into The Complete First Season for the full experience however, then listen up, as your experience isn’t quite as complete as you may expect.

By this point, it’s fair to say that anyone who’s been keeping up with the Rainbow Six Siege outfits that continue to arrive in swift fashion is probably looking at a wardrobe of options similar to that of the Kardashians. Nevertheless, the guys at Ubisoft Montreal aren’t slowing down yet, and today sees the latest outfit arrive for Rainbow Six Siege players on Xbox One.
