After 20 years of playing every game I can get my hands on, I can now be found selling my soul for anything Resident Evil, Gears of War, or Gamerscore related... all of which will be mastered after a good cuppa!
Should you be after a game that can provide hours of fun or even some engaging experiences with friends, then Tetsumo Party isn’t likely to be your go-to game. It has a nice idea and if done better - dare I say maybe even with Kinect from back in the day - we could have been looking at a very interesting game. Sadly, that’s not the case
For a yearly release based on one of the biggest racing franchises, NASCAR Heat 4 doesn’t quite do it justice and even though those wanting a functional racer will find enough to be going on with, there aren't many reasons to pick this over any other racer on the market.
When it comes to survival horror, the first thing that many will want to talk about are the classic titles that kicked it all off; the Resident Evil’s and the Silent Hill’s of this world. Of course, since that point, survival horror has come a long way, evolving a lot, but that doesn’t mean that there aren’t people out there who appreciate the roots of where it all began. With DAYMARE: 1998, that’s what the focus is centred around.
With party games on the rise once more however, it seems some developers are happy to return to simpler times, forgoing the need to always focus on vast in-depth stories and visual masterpieces to bring a memorable tale. Deadliners does just that, bringing players nothing but some classic party madness.
We may have already seen MX vs ATV All Out bring the off-road madness back in 2018, but now it’s tearing those muddy tires through the tracks once more to bring the fast-paced action back to the forefront, and this time it comes with all the previously released DLC included as part of the deal of the MX vs ATV All Out Anniversary Edition on Xbox One.
With Fortnite, PUBG, Realm Royale and even Call of Duty already enjoying a steady fight for the title of best Battle Royale game, we certainly aren’t short of options, but that doesn’t mean we’re not going to see a late challenger attempt to compete for the throne. Apex Legends, the recent surprise release from the guys over at Respawn Entertainment, is that game.
Almost There – The Platformer is a simplistic platform title that looks to utilise the reactions of players as they attempt to beat the many hazards that are set out through a vast selection of levels. The goal is simple - you take control of a square, and are required to get that square to the end of the level; an area indicated by a white floating diamond.
Releasing a unique and original experience - or at least a memorable one - isn’t an easy task, especially if you want it to be memorable for all the right reasons. After spending several hours trying to avoid stacking my bike for the 100th time, it seems that Pumped BMX Pro may just have what it takes to create that classic yet simplistic experience we’ve all been looking for
Outward is fast approaching a release on Xbox One, PS4 and PC, bringing with it a brand new open-world fantasy adventure game that will be found featuring deep simulation and huge amounts of immersion. In fact, it promises players that they will get to experience an entirely new kind of RPG! Sounds good eh? We think so and when we had the opportunity to quiz the creative lead on the game, we couldn't let the chance pass us by. Guillaume Boucher-Vidal was more than happy to let us know more about Outward!
Pumped BMX Pro is gearing up to release on Xbox One, with the game debuting in Xbox Game Pass alongside the usual standard launch. After finding the Pumped BMX series, and Pumped BMX+ in particular, hugely entertaining games, our excitement meters are high for this latest edition. Seems like the perfect time to sit down with the creator of the Pumped series of games, Adam Hunt, to quiz him about not just Pumped BMX Pro, but the series in general. He was only too happy to oblige!
As far as officially licensed racing games go, the team over at Milestone seem to have a bit of a penchant for creating rather brilliant racing experiences. In 2018 alone, we saw no less than five games come from the creative minds at Milestone, with bike racers featuring prominently. With the new year well under way, Milestone have returned once more, this time with the highly anticipated sequel to last year’s new and exciting racing I.P. – Monster Energy Supercross 2.
Raccoon City. To a veteran of the survival horror genre, the mere mention of that very city is enough to see sweat running across the forehead, sticky palms clenching, and nerves beginning to break down. An unbearable tension will no doubt grow as minds are cast back to a time in which zombies were once a major fear factor in gaming, and survival horror was a horrifying experience.
Welcome back to Resident Evil 2.
With February already upon us, it’s time to look into this month’s free Xbox One and Xbox 360 offerings to see just how good the latest batch of free titles are. Is it a good month to be an Xbox gamer?

It’s got chickens, but it’s not PUBG. It’s got beautiful cartoon visuals, but it’s not Fortnite. It is a Battle Royale experience though and having already excited many on PC, it has now arrived for the masses on Xbox One on PS4. It’s Realm Royale!
As a huge fan of survival horror, the thought of returning to the streets of Raccoon City once more to face off against the zombie hordes - where it all started 20 years ago - is something that I’ve been excited about for quite some time.

For those of you who have been living under a rock or deep in the jungle for the last ten years, the Devil May Cry games feature a protagonist called Dante. And this is Dante when he was just effortlessly cool...
The two games featured in the Star Wars: Battlefront Classic Collection were big deals when first released. Playing them again now, it is clear to see why.
