No Man’s Sky Review

Two years later and with four post-release updates, No Man’s Sky arrives on Xbox One, with a lot of the same fanfare it was receiving when it was originally released. Two years can be a long time, even longer when you have over 18 quintillion planets - 18,446,744,073,709,551,616 to be ‘precise’ - to explore. Before I could even begin to investigate all the new features, I first had to overcome 100°C+ firestorms on my starting planet. Deep end. Thrown in.

Castaway Paradise Review

Originally conceived as a Facebook game in 2014, Castaway Paradise was then released on mobile and Steam back in 2015, but it clearly knows there is a gap in the Xbox One and PS4 market. Advertising itself as a simulation game in the same vein as Animal Crossing or Harvest Moon – and making no apologies for just how much at times – it’s a game that can easily whittle away a few hours, all in an experience that’s much gentler than many will be used to.

The Path of Motus Review

Even without knowing the exact ins and outs, it is clear The Path of Motus is designer Michael Hicks' very personal story to tell. Players control Motus, a young goblin who is determined to not be like others in his village and journeys through the forest; a feat no goblin has ever achieved before.

Exclusive Q&A with Michael Hicks regarding development of The Path of Motus

The Path of Motus has been in development for 3 years, but now it's gearing up for a release on Xbox One, PS4 and PC. With the game exploring the psychology behind bullying, and featuring a verbal combat system where words have the power to destroy, it is a hugely interesting affair.  There is one main man behind it too - that man being Michael Hicks. We caught up with him for a quick chat about the game, and how it all came about.

But now – thanks to Epic Loon – we no longer need to imagine, as it is available to download right away!

Old-school Inspired Racer Wheelspin Frenzy Blazes Off the Starting Line on Xbox One

If you are looking for an isometric arcade racer to fill the gap after last year’s Micro Machines: World Series, then Wheelspin Frenzy may be exactly what you need... and it is available to download right now.

Wheelspin Frenzy Review

One of the long-standing issues with local versus multiplayer gameplay is that invariably, the person that owns the game is more than likely to win overall. Any win that comes from another player is a turn up for the books, and greeted with shock at the occurrence. All this changes with Wheelspin Frenzy, a game that – either through meticulous gameplay tweaking or sheer dumb luck – levels out the playing field and offers an exciting racing game for up to four players. Judging from the menu design though, I am inclined to go down the sheer dumb luck option.
